Automatic Traversing Unit (TRV)
The TRV Traverser is an electrically operated unit for moving PCBs in a horizontal plane between two or more parallel-positioned test/assembly lines. Up to six entry and exit points can be provided. All stop positions are programmable. The electrically driven transport table ensures an accurate positioning of the PCB at each entry and exit point.
The routing (entry-exit) of the PCB inside the unit entirely depends on the line set-up and can be configured as needed. The table inside the unit is equipped with a belt-driven transport segment for transporting the PCB. The table itself slides over two linear guides and is driven by an electric motor and timing belt. As an option, the transport segment can be equipped with an automatic width-adjustment module that automatically adjusts the position of the rear transport rail to the width of the PCB.
The TRV Traverser integrates easily in a fully automated SMEMA-compatible test environment. The control panel with touch screen gives access to all parameters and settings.
