Founded in 1779 as a simple iron hammer, the Hasloch hammer mill developed over the course of many years and decades into the internationally active supplier and technology group Kurtz Ersa. For more than 240 years, the company has repeatedly realized decisive technical innovations, which very often result from long-standing customer relationships based on partnership.
Already in the past, the products were known for their quality and performance far beyond the borders of the Spessart region. Innovation was already an important driving force for the success of the then still young company in the 18th century.
With a continuous process of change, the company has succeeded over many years and decades in always adapting its products to the requirements of the market. This is how Kurtz Ersa became a technology and world market leader in many areas – and many experienced engineers and technicians work every day on innovations that further improve the production process on the customer side. In doing so, they draw again and again from the wealth of experience of the company’s history. This is how our tradition lives on – today and tomorrow!
Sustainability
Our first production plant dates back to 1779: a water-powered forge hammer – which is still active! We maintain this historic industrial monument as a visible sign of our sustainable corporate development. Because sustainability is lived in the Kurtz Ersa Group as an integral part of the corporate culture.
Systematic control of all processes
The basis for systematic control of all Kurtz Ersa processes is our management system, which also includes the sustainability aspect – the basis for the daily actions of all employees. Our production processes are also constantly assigned improvement targets with regard to sustainability. And already in product development, our engineers pay attention to an optimized use of resources. Sustainability is lived at Kurtz Ersa!
Additive Manufacturing
Kurtz Ersa and LMI (Laser Melting Innovations GmbH & Co. KG), based in Aachen, Germany, are establishing a cooperation to further develop metallic 3D laser printing and, in particular, to offer medium-sized companies a cost-effective entry into additive manufacturing processes. The cooperation also enables an enormously fast “time-to-market”. We offer solutions that are tailored to your needs. From machine adaptations to the targeted integration of sensor technology.
