TracSwitch

The track switch is used to distribute Shuttles from one lane to two, and vice versa. Thanks to the small radii, bypasses and branches can be implemented in narrow spaces. The TracSwitch is operated electrically and is powered directly from the conductor rails.

The switch is driven by a direct-current motor via a pinion and
cogwheel. The rotary plate is locked and unlocked in its end positions. The end positions of the rotary movement are attenuated via thecontrol system and sensed by an inductive proximity switch.
