PratiSaturn BIDI series machines are fully compliant with all pharmaceutical and security inspection demands.
The 100% inspection camera stops the machine when a fault has been detected and repositions the faulty label back to the repair table. The fault can be inspected by the operator and any replacement made, if allowed by the customer, is then re-inspected and if it passes the inspection tolerances set, the job is OK and the web accelerates to normal speed once again. Saturn BIDI is capable of inspecting countless material types including BKL labels, ECL, without damaging the face of the book. Also when a re-inspection is required, the web tension and slitting of the machine is totally unaffected by web reverse.
