TracCrossing

The crossing makes it possible for two lanes to intersect each other at a right angle. The electrical power is supplied directly from the conductor rails.

The design of the crossing is nearly identical with the switch. The connection measurements correspond to the measurements of a switch (TracSwitch). The TracCrossing operates electrically and is powered directly via the Trac conductor rails. The TracCrossing is powered by a direct-current motor via a pinion and cogwheel.  The rotary plate is locked and unlocked in its end positions. The end positions of the rotary movement are attenuated via thecontrol system and sensed by an inductive proximity switch.
